Europe Backs Up Low-Dose Version of Cialis for Impotence

Thu, 28 June 2007

Having received approval from European officials, now Cialis turns the first erectile dysfunction drug which can be utilized constantly. According to the drug’s maker, Eli Lilly and Co., the European commission approved a once-daily version of pinnacle impotence pill Cialis.

So far, erectile dysfunction drugs like Cialis and Pfizer’s Viagra are permitted to be used when needed, but after the approval of European officials, a new low-dose formulation of Cialis, on the contrary, can be taken all the time, which in turn, exterminates the necessity to plan sexual activity in a restricted period of time. The pill is designed for men who want to reap sexual pleasure at least twice a week.

Lilly has planned to launch its once-daily version in certain European countries in the second half of this year.

In the first quarter of 2007, Cialis spawned worldwide sales of $266 and a once-daily version could assist the maker in differentiating its remedy from rivals, according to the estimate of industry analysts.
