Diet Drug Alli May Soon Available In the Middle East

As the drug maker, GlaxoSmithKline is planning to file an application to market alli in Saudi Arabia by March next year; it is likely that weight-conscious populace residing in the Middle East can avail the over-the-counter preparation soon.
“GlaxoSmithKline [GSK] has planned to file for approval to market the drug in Saudi Arabia by March next year and the drug will be marketed instantly once GSK gets a quick analysis of Alli in the US market,” articulated a GSK Consumer Health-care official.
“Though it is not possible to foretell the exact time of regulatory review, we are hopeful that Alli will be launched and marketed under a new brand name,” said spokesman Larry.
But as per the report published in Daily News, Alli’s assurance of providing help to calorie conscious in losing 50 per cent more weight than by dieting alone evidently preponderates the fact that the medicine can also make consumers to lose control of their bowels movements..
Alli’s website informs that the drug’s fat-blocking attribute can give birth to gas, oily spotting and more frequent stools that can be hard to regulate.
In a reply to the question concerning weight gain after cessation of the pill, Larry said: “Like any other diet or weight loss plan, if an individual follows the discipline of weight supervision and makes suitable adjustments when required, weight loss can be retained for long span of time.”
